Boarding Requirements

Please note: CVF does not offer general boarding. All boarders must be actively enrolled in a training program with either the CVF instructor team or one of our in-house training programs (Fox Den Farm or Royal Pointe Show Stables), and are required to compete in at least a few CVF shows each year.

FAQs for CVF Boarding

What type of boarding options do you offer?

We offer full board.

What are the stall sizes, and how often are they cleaned?

Stall dimensions: 10' x 14', cleaned daily.

What turnout options are available?

Group and individual turnout available daily. We have both dry lots and grass paddocks.

What amenities are available for riders?

Two heated indoor riding arenas (80' x 250' and 100' x 210'), a jumper outdoor arena (175' x 300'), and an outdoor ring (325' x 400') split into two arenas. Each stall has a 3' x 7' tack locker, and there are heated wash racks.

What is the feeding program?

Hay is fed 3 times a day, and Buckeye Feed is provided 2 times a day (Safe 'n Easy, Gro 'n Win, Ultimate Recovery, and EQ8 Senior).

What is your emergency care protocol for horses?

The owner is contacted first. If the owner is unavailable, the veterinarian of their choice is contacted, and a staff member from CVF steps in until the owner arrives.

What is your deworming and vaccination policy?

Semi-Annually: Flu/Rhino, West Nile, Rabies, EHV-1, Tetanus, Potomac Horse Fever, Strangles, EEE/WEE, and fecal tests are required to maintain proper worming schedules.

What are the facility hours?

Our facility is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m.

What additional services are available?

Lessons, boarding, training, horse shows, and vet and farrier coordination.

What is the monthly cost, and what does it include?

Monthly board is $1,099 and includes hay, grain, turnout, stall cleaning, and blanketing.

Can I bring my own trainer or farrier?

Unfortunately, we do not allow outside trainers. However, you are welcome to bring your own farrier.

How do you ensure the safety of the horses (e.g., fencing, supervision)?

Full-time staff and management team living on-site.

Can I tour the facility during a typical day?

Yes, facility tours are available every day of the week.
